Lee Wei Song is a Singaporean songwriter, producer and vocal stylist with more than 40 years of experience in Mandopop. In 1995, he co-founded Lee Wei Song Music Academy with his brother, Lee Si Song, to share the joy of music-making and nurture aspiring artists.

His work as a composer and producer has reached audiences across Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. Today, he continues to mentor students, sharing practical insight into vocal styling, songwriting, performance and artistic identity.

 

Career Beginnings

The Lee Brothers began writing music for local television dramas while they were still in high school. In 1984, at the age of 18, he and his brother, Lee Si Song, took part in the music production of The Awakening, Singapore’s first television drama series. Including local classic, “Good Morning, Teacher!”, “The Last Hero”, etc. 1990s, their works reached a wider Asian audience through songs for artists including Jacky Cheung. And their careers entered a new chapter in the 2000s with the rise of Stefanie Sun.
