Lee Si Song

Lee Si Song is a Singaporean Mandopop songwriter and music producer with more than 40 years of industry experience. He specialises in songwriting, music production and artist development, creating work loved by audiences across Asia.

Together with his brother, Lee Wei Song, he has created many enduring Mandarin pop songs and remains committed to nurturing young talent. In 1995, the brothers jointly founded Lee Wei Song Music Academy, where he continues to share practical experience in songwriting, production and pop vocal performance.

 

Career Beginnings

The Lee Brothers began writing music for local television dramas while they were still in high school. In 1984, at the age of 18, he and his brother, Lee Si Song, took part in the music production of The Awakening, Singapore’s first television drama series. Including local classic, “Good Morning, Teacher!”, “The Last Hero”, etc. 1990s, their works reached a wider Asian audience through songs for artists including Jacky Cheung. And their careers entered a new chapter in the 2000s with the rise of Stefanie Sun.
