Jason Ng

Jason Ng is a versatile vocal instructor, performer, songwriter and music producer with more than 10 years of teaching and live-performance experience. His musical journey began with piano at the age of four, followed by school choir and orchestra training. Today, he draws on his experience across pop, rock, R&B, musical theatre and K-pop to help students become confident, expressive performers.

 

Education & Training

  • Licentiate Diploma of the London College of Music in Pop Music Vocal Performance (LLCM)

  • Certificate in Songwriting and Music Production, The Songwriting Music College (2020)

  • Early training in piano, choir and symphony orchestra

  • Skilled in piano, keyboard, composition and arrangement

  • Senior Instructor, Lee Wei Song Music Academy (2013–present)

  • More than 10 years of vocal teaching experience

  • Teaches students using practical stage experience, performance techniques and genre-based vocal training

  • Songwriter, music producer, arranger and singer

  • Producer, composer and vocalist for the Ultherapy Prime Asia advertising campaign (2025)

  • Producer and composer for Nova’s 草饲坏种 (2025)

  • Invited judge for singing competitions including Impresario (2016), Lion City Star (2019) and Jyu Voice (2023)

Teaching Approach

Jason combines technical vocal training with real-stage experience. He helps students explore different genres, strengthen their performance skills and develop the confidence to express themselves authentically on stage.
