Sim Hong Rui is a passionate vocal teacher, independent artist and creative producer with extensive experience in live performance, band leadership and grassroots music outreach. With over seven years of singing experience, he brings a practical, performance-led approach to helping students build confidence, expression and strong vocal foundations.
 

Music Journey

Hong Rui began his musical journey at 13, when he won first place in his school’s talent show. At 16, he picked up his first guitar and began writing songs. By 18, he had earned second place in the group performance category of 星空下. At 20, he formed his own band, 無常樂 (Impermanence), with fellow musicians who share his passion for indie rock and pop.
