Children Music Program
4 - 12 Years old 

The LWSMA Children Program is designed to help young children discover and develop their talents and skills through fun and engaging musical activities and singing. Our program is centered on the belief that all children are little stars in the making, and that music can be a powerful tool for expressing emotions and thoughts. Through singing and participating in musical activities, children will have the opportunity to explore their interests, build self-expression and confidence, and have a lot of fun in the process.

Budding STAR

4-6 YEARS OLD 
Minimum 3 Students
Maximum 6 Students 
Duration: 1 Hour 


The Budding Stars program is designed to provide young children with a fun and engaging introduction to music. Our fast-paced, energetic lessons are tailored to engage and inspire children as they explore new concepts and skills. Through singing and participating in musical activities, children will have the opportunity to discover and develop their talents, and to build self-expression and confidence. Whether they are just starting out or have been playing for a while, Budding Stars students will find a supportive and inspiring environment in which to grow and learn. As they progress through the program, students will have the opportunity to build upon their skills and continue to explore their musical talents.

Key Objectives

 

  • Body  –  Associate different expressions to body and facial languages.
     

  • Singing  –  Acquire basic music literacy of pitching, rhythm and musical expressions through vocal warmups and exercises.
     

  • Performance – Perform a song harmoniously in a group without looking at lyrics cues.

Little STAR

7- 9 YEARS OLD
Minimum 3 Students
Maximum 6 Students 
Duration: 1 Hour 


The Little Stars program is designed for older children who are passionate about music and movement. Through a combination of individualized instruction and team performance, these classes provide students with the opportunity to develop their skills and build confidence. The focus of the Little Stars program is on the fusion of music and movement, as well as the joy and sense of accomplishment that comes from performing together. In these classes, children will have the opportunity to work as a team to create complete singing and dancing performances, which will allow them to showcase their abilities and have fun in the process. Whether they are just starting out or have been playing for a while, Little Stars students will find a supportive and inspiring environment in which to grow and learn.

Key Objectives

 

  • Body –  Maintain a good standing posture at all time and coordinate precise movements to rhythm.
     

  • Singing  –  Sing with a well-balanced voice, and to be able to create varying degree of expression in one song.
     

  • Performance  –  Execute a performance with choreographed movements and maintaining a confident eye contact with the audience.

Tween Star

10-12 YEARS OLD
Minimum 3 Students
Maximum 6 Students 
Duration: 1 Hour 

The Tween Stars program is designed for young musicians who are ready to take their skills to the next level. In addition to singing and moving, these students will have the opportunity to prepare for graded exams, which will help them lay the foundation for further music study in the future. Through a combination of individualized instruction and team performance, the Tween Stars program encourages students to discover and develop their talents, and to explore their passion for music. Whether they are just starting out or have been playing for years, Tween Stars students will find a supportive and inspiring environment in which to grow and learn.
